Alhambra bianco is a cuvee of two Sicilian type of grapes: Inzolia and Cataratto. The vineyards are in the area of Monreale-Palermo. The colour is a bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. Cataratto gets the freshness and body into the cuvee, Insolia the elegance. There is an unobstrusive aroma of apple-pear-fruit and some citrus. The nose breathes the scent of a summer meadow with a touch of almond. Good with egg dishes and fish. Perfect with asparagus with sauce hollandaise.
