Rosso di Montalcino is the small brother of the great Brunello di Montalcino. Like the great brother it is a pure Sangiovese and grows at the slopes of the old town of Montalcino. The wine is left to mature for 12 months in oak casks and 6 months on the bottle. The colour of the wine is an intense rubyred. Rosso di Montalcíno has a terrific scent of small red fruits and cherries. The senses of taste experience a warn, dry wine with low tannins. Alcoholic content 13,5%. Good with pasta with meat sauce, game and poultry.
