Rosso Piceno is together with the Rosso Conero the most popular wine of the Marches. It is a cuvee of Sangiovese ( 20% ) and Montepulciano ( 80% ). The Rosso Piceno is rubyred and left to mature in oak casks. The nose is delighted by a clear fruit. The wine is tasty, dry and has well integrated tannins. Alcoholic content 13%. The wine is perfect with Tagiatelle with meat and tomato sauce.
