Amarone della Valpolicella means types of grapes which are measured out in a harmonious way: Corvinone ( 20% ), Corvina ( 40% ) and Rondinella ( 15% ). After harvest the grapes wither for three month in rooms which are naturally ventilated by air. Then the 30day fermentation of the withered grapes starts. Three years of tranquility in casks of French oak and an additional year in the bottle have a great wine mature. The colour is a set dark rubyred colour with garnet reflections. Amarone is an uncomparable delight for the sense of scent: Aromas of wild fruits, tobacco and spices. A crowning dry long lasting final. Alcoholic content 16%. Perfect with Parmigiano Reggiano, dried fruits and walnuts. Good with pot roast, roast beef or game.
