A Rosso Conero like it should be: Purely made from the Montepulciano grape and ripened on the nicest southern slopes of the Rosso Conero DOC, on a hill with the name Baviera. After fermentation the wine is resting for 12 months in once or twice used oak casks. After bottling the Rosso Conero is staying for a couple of months in the bottle before it shows its intense, rubyred colour. The pleasant bouquet of the wine reminds of sour cherry and mulberry. The taste of the Rosso Conero is full and harmonious. The taste has shades of red fruits like plums, cherries and mulberries and tobacco in the final.
