Morellino di Scansano purely comes from vines in the Maremma. The intense rubyred wine shows a complex bouquet of violets, cherries and fruits of the wood. The final taste has clear notes of nutmeg.On the palate is presents itself very harmonious and smooth and leaves a warm impression. The smooth tannins give the wine a good structure and a long lasting finish. Food pairings: game dishes, ripe cheese and strong fish. Alcoholic content 13%. Residual sugar 1,7 g/l. Acidity 5,5 g/l. Extract 30 g/l. The wine may be stored for 5 years.
