This pure Greco di Tufo grows at the Altavilla Estate, at the locations of Lapio, Montefalcione, Candida and Mercogliano. The vineyards have been planted in various years since 1956 to 1980. The soil type is tuffaceous and the vineyard altitude is 400-500 m above sea level. Vine density is 2500-3000 vines a hectare. Around 3000 liters per hectare is produced. Villa Matilde Greco di Tufo has a straw yellow colour. The bouquet is intense, persistent, appealing and complex. The wine gourmet senses distinct notes of white peach, apricot, sweet almonds and mineral nuances. On the palate Villa Matilde Greco di Tufo shows a good structure and complexity and freshness.
