Merlot you find all over the world. This pure Merlot you only find with Conte Alberto in Friuli. What is so special with it? It is not its dark, rubyred colour, but its bouquet which reminds you of ripe red berries. And the splendid scent of cherries, plums and blackberries. In addition a small wind of coffee and black pepper. Merlot has distinct tannins. But this does not interfere with the balance and smoothness of the wine. The red wine is left to mature for 12 months in casks of Slovenian oak. Alcoholic content 13%. The wine may be served with cooked meat, chicken and rabbit. Perfect with grilled meat and roast.
