Since 1979 Antonelli makes this great wine of Sangiovese ( 65% ), Sagrantino ( 15% ), Cabernet Sauvignon ( 10% ) and Merlot ( 10% ). The wine gets its deserved tranquility for 9 months in casks of allier-oak and slawonian oak. Then the assemblage and clearance in great steel tanks takes place for 3 months. After additional 6 months of maturation in the bottle the wine gets its slighty violet, rubyred colour. On the powerful nose there are scents of berries of the wood, cherries, plums with toasted notes. The mouth-feel of the wine is full and warm, complex and harmonious. Alcoholic content 14,5%. Good with strong Ravioli, Risotto, Tagliatelle, shortly raosted meat, grill dishes, suckling pig and ripened cheese.
