In the Castel del Monte region best grapes of the authochtonous Uva di Troia type of grape ripen. A pure wine with a distinctive taste which is hard to find anywhere else. It has a deep garnet red colour with violet reflections. The nose has complex tinges of red and black berries. A fiery strong taste of berries with a whiff of pepper and bay leaf surprises the palate. And finally the plain, smooth finale - what a great wine! Alcoholic content 12,5%. Good with grilled red meat, game and pheasant. Good as well with spicy dishes.
