The Weinkommissar team has a firm good nose to pick good Italian, Austrian and Slovenian wines. We buy at small and medium sized wineries. We import directly from the winemakers without using any intermediate trade. This is why we are able to offer fair pricing. Some of our wines you will find at specialist shops others you will only find with us. We have a direct and intense contact with our winemakers. We cooperate with our partners for many years and thereby are able to gurantee best qualtiy. We know about our wine: where it comes from. How it grows. How it is produced. You are welcome to meet our winemakers at a tasting and verify.

The roots of Weinkommissar go back to 1999 when Katrin Modler started as wine sales advisor in our Düsseldorf shop. Katrin Modler holds a certified apprenticeship as restaurant expert and studied hotel business administration. Early in her career she discoverd her dedication to wine world. The wine offering was increased year by year so that you find today all Italian regions and some wines of Slovenia in our shop.

In August 1st 2006 a second shop in the City of Bonn was opened. Like in Düsseldorf a specialist shop is combined with a winebar. Our mission is that you enjoy your wine and spend a nice time in our shops and at our winebars. Come and find out.
